I tried to submit a flight plan between Newark(KEWR) and Hamburg(EDDH) and I got the following error message:
ERRORS AT FL = 290:
(FPL-LOT001-IS -B738/M-SDRWY/S -KEWR0850 -N0430F290 BASYE BAF BGR TOPPS YAY HECKK 53N050W 54N040W 55N030W 56N020W PIKIL DCT SOVED DCT MIMKU UN563 GOW UL983 GOMOT CUTEL AVRAL VALBO SUTEB ABLUN GOMKU DHE -EDDH0915 -0) ROUTE134: THE STAR LIMIT IS EXCEEDED FOR AERODROME EDDH [EDDH1B] CONNECTING TO DHE

Can you help me by correcting my error?

Thanks

"STAR limit exceeded" means DHE is not valid as a final waypoint if you want to land at EDDH. Have a look at arrivals (STARs) map for EDDH to see what waypoints initiate a STAR, as one of them should be the last item of your plan.

By the way, it looks like you tried to list individual waypoints of the STAR - this is incorrect. Either skip the STAR at all or provide it's name instead.

Just plotting the route you have posted using Skyvector charts
GOW UL983 GOMOT CUTEL AVRAL VALBO SUTEB ABLUN GOMKU DHE
Firstly, change this to:

Code: Select all

GOW UL983 CUTEL UL619 LBE
See if that works.

As an aside, I see the real world UAL74 flights join via GRONY and use the route GRONY UM105 EEL UN125 REVLA T907 SORUN T903 RIBSO to get into Hamburg. They join GRONY via the UN873 or UL603 depending on the exit point from the NAT route.
