EGLL - UUDD

Post by TorbenJA » Wed Apr 04, 2012 11:28 am

I am trying to change the present route:
BPK M185 CLN UL620 TULIP UZ700 GITER Z700 CDA L983 MATEK DCT LARMA M865 LATMI B65 TIGNU UM865 VTB UN858 OGUTA R800 FK FK1T UM IN4T GOTMA BD3T LO IN2T WT

to

BPK M185 CLN UL620 TULIP UZ700 GITER Z700 CDA L983 ROE M865 LATMI B65 TIGNU UM865 VTB UN858 OGUTA R800 FK

The reason is that FK1T is a transit route for planes NOT landing in Moscow area. From FK (Gagarin NDB) you should take FK1D or FK2D star.
However I am getting an error:

ERRORS AT FL = 300:
(FPL-LOT001-IS -B738/M-SDRWY/S -EGLL0850 -N0430F300 BPK M185 CLN UL620 TULIP UZ700 GITER Z700 CDA L983 ROE M865 LATMI B65 TIGNU UM865 VTB UN858 OGUTA R800 FK -UUDD0403 -0) ROUTE139: UM865 IS PRECEDED BY TIGNU WHICH IS NOT ONE OF ITS POINTS

Why this error as the strings involving TIGNU are identical?

It's sometimes possible that you see a route as apparently valid but in fact it's just not been verified in a given cycle. It happens in the first couple days of a new cycle. At the moment all three EGLL-UUDD routes are marked as broken, which correctly reflects their validation results.

I checked the specific error (UM865/M865) and apparently UM865 is no longer valid while M865 after TIGNU is FL195 max. This is what Eurocontrol database is saying.

Hi Michael
Apparently Lithuania and Latvi (I guess Estonia as well) are copying Sweden (Denmark also) and omit the U prefix. Looking at the EY and EV pages at Eurocontrol the airways are now without the U.

So right now (looking for a route for the return flight from UUDD to EGLL) I find the present routes at vroute invalid, but am unable to correct them, as I get an error when trying to.

cheers

I didn't know it's also in Latvia. I have lifted the altitude restrictions in Riga FIR.
