Request for Prosim 737-800 model

Postby sunmartial » Sat Aug 12, 2017 11:43 am

Hello Guys

Do you have any plans for adding the Prosim 737-800 NG flight model to your list? I am using the PMDG one, but I notice the ZFW is a bit different from the Prosim one. I am not sure why that would be the case, as I assume they are all trying to model the real plane.

Either way, adding the Prosim model would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Do you just need to change the ZFW or redo the calibration as well? (2nd would be needed if you're seeing the forecast significantly off the actual consumption)

Hi Michal

I haven't noticed if the forecast has been much different than the actual consumption to be honest. I will try and pay ore attention to this. But for now, I would at least like the correct ZFW to be shown and printed on the sheet, so that I can use it to enter the correct value into the FMC.

Thanks

Hi Michal

Ok, it seems my understanding of ZFW was wrong. I thought it excluded passengers, but looks like it includes passengers. This means it will vary from flight to flight. With the Prosim settings, it varies from 56.59 Kg with a full aircraft to 46.020 kg with no passengers.

So, maybe you could set it at about 80-90% capacity. How about 54.5 kg?

Thanks

vroute does not store ZFW directly, as you correctly pointed out it would need some assumptions on payload. The empty weight for B738 is assumed to be 91300 lbs. Is this valid for Prosim?
